A benchmark system for WordPress that separates real users from bots. The Real Person Badge is free and is a part of the Anti-Spam protection cloud service.

What is The Real Person Badge

Bots are among us all over the Internet. They visit websites, gather information, and write comments and reviews. So how do you distinguish such a bot from a real comment or review author?

The Real Person Badge shows a special icon for the author of a comment or a review, that the author successfully passed all Anti-Spam filters and acts as a real person. As well as their email address is also confirmed to exist.

It improves the quality of user-generated content on your website by proving that the content is not from spambots.

How it works

1. A user submits a review or a comment
   Using any form on your WordPress website.
   
   
2. The Plugin collects author's data
   The Anti-Spam plugin captures over 100 parameters associated with the author and sends them to the CleanTalk cloud.
   
   
3. The Cloud makes a decision
   And sends it back to the plugin on your website.
   
   
4. Author gets The Real Person Badge
   ...or not, depending on the Cloud decision.

How to install

1. Go to the WordPress catalog, Install and activate the CleanTalk plugin.
   
   
2. Go to WordPress Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk and enable the option The Real Person and Save Changes:
   
   
   
   
3. Go to any of your posts that has comments and check, that The Real Person Badge is live.
